Tiffany Adams has over six years of experience as a labour and birth doula in London, Ontario, attending labours at home and births in area hospitals
(LHSC & St. Joe's). She has provided childbirth preparation, education and support to over 30 families during this time while raising her own
family with young children. Shortly after the birth of her first daughter in 2002, Tiffany sought out doula training and started supporting her first
clients as a volunteer.
Tiffany has worked with pregnant teenagers, single mothers, pregnant women with addiction issues, women with high risk pregnancies (including
preeclampsia, VBAC, breech presentations, premature labour and birth), and couples who have just started their families over age 35. Her experience
allows her to work with midwifery clients, OB patients, women choosing epidurals and other pain medications, natural births and cesarean sections.
Tiffany strives to provide non-judgemental and unconditional support, helping women achieve their birth goals.
Tiffany is very passionate about women's health and holistic therapies, and is on a continuous search for education and ways to bring unique services
to pregnant women through MamaAssist. She resides in London, Ontario with her husband and four daughters ages 7 years to 8 months.
Personal Birth Experiences: (1st) Hospital birth at LHSC with an OB. Oxytocin
augmentation and epidural. (2nd) Home birth with Womancare Midwives, a very positive and healing experience.
(3rd) Threatened pre-term labor, lots of hospital bedrest (St. Joe's), ruptured membranes at 32 weeks, labour and
delivery at 32 weeks 5 days with epidural. Baby had 7 week stay in NICU, Progressive Care and Care By Parent units at

Rachel Pollitt started supporting women during labour and birth over eleven years ago, before attending professional doula training in 2005
and 2006. She brings a wide range of experience to the table having worked with midwives, obstetricians, and family doctors who attend deliveries. She
has supported women through natural births, epidurals, vaginal breech birth, and has supported women in the OR during cesarean sections. Rachel is also
a trained postpartum doula, helping women in difficult situations with their babies, women with postpartum depression, and has even supported families
with twins and quadruplets.
Rachel is very spirited, humorous, and has a genuinely caring nature. She is witty, earth-friendly, understanding, and can raise the mood of any room.
Her passion for supporting women stems from her belief that every woman will have a voice and be heard during their labours and births, and that
they'll receive the support they want before, during, and after birth.
Rachel currently resides in London, Ontario with her husband, 8 year old daughter, 5 year old son, and dog, Tikka.
